Tourism Authority Thailand

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) was established in March 1960 and was the first organisation in Thailand to be specifically responsible for tourism promotion. The TAT supplies a wide range of information and data about Thai tourism to both the general public and to the travel trade in order to attract encouraging both Thai and international tourists to explore and discover Thailand. The TAT also undertakes research and analysis to assist in the development plans to develop regions of Thailand as attractive destinations for tourists. The TAT also directly co-operates with, and supports, the production and development of staff working in tourism in Thailand.
